Agra: In a shocking incident, a man allegedly poisoned his mother and twelve-year-old son, following which he died by suicide in Uttar Pradesh’s Agra. At the time of the incident, the man’s wife was away from home, the police said.
According to the police, Tarun Chouhan’s wife had gone to Khatu Shyam Ji temple in Rajasthan’s Sikar at the time of the incident. The bodies were found by the family’s domestic help, who after reaching the house, found Chouhan hanging from a ceiling. She also found the bodies of his mother and son lying on the bed. The police have filed an FIR in the vase and further probe is on in the case.
Neighbours were shocked after the incident
Neighbours are in shock after the incident. As per one of the neighbors, Chouhan’s mother used to remain unwell for a long time. The family was also under a huge burden of debt. He recently took a dealership of Pepsi and was suffering heavy losses. The man had then sold a part of his house to clear debt. According to neighbors, the incident behind the cause of the deaths will be clear after the wife returns from Rajasthan, who is already on her way back.
In the meantime, in another incident, a 15-year-old girl narrowly escaped death after her father and uncle allegedly tried to kill her by throwing her into the Yamuna River in Agra. The incident took place when the girl’s father arrived at her maternal grandmother’s house in Utah. After reaching the father had allegedly persuaded her to accompany him to Gurugram, to confront a male friend.
The friendship of the girl with the boy had reportedly created tensions in the family, which led to strict instructions from him to cancel communication with him. Soon after, the family had sent her send her to her maternal grandmother’s house.
