Kangana Ranaut’s political endeavours
This isn’t the first time Kangana has been linked to politics. While she previously stated she wasn’t a political person, her stance seemed to shift in November 2023 when she expressed a willingness to contest elections, albeit with a touch of spiritual humility, saying, “If Lord Krishna showers blessings, I will fight.”
As Kangana continues to make headlines both for her cinematic endeavours and her outspoken views, Emergency stands out as a project close to her heart, shedding light on a turbulent period in India’s political landscape. The actress had earlier, said as per ANI, “Emergency is one of the most significant and darkest chapters in our history that young India needs to know. It is a crucial story and I want to thank my super-talented actors like late Satish ji, Anupam ji, Shreyas, Mahima, and Milind for embarking on this creative journey together. I am excited to bring this extraordinary episode from India’s history to the big screen. Jaihind!”
