Skoda Superb Returns to India: Only 100 Units Available Priced at ₹54 Lakh

The Skoda Superb sedan has made a return to the Indian market at a price of ₹54 lakh (ex-showroom). This comes after Skoda had to stop selling the car last year because of new emission rules in India. Now, the company is bringing back the Superb with some updates to meet these rules and adding new features for the buyers.

Skoda Superb 2024: Only 100 Units Available

Skoda is selling the Superb as a completely built unit (CBU), which means the car is built overseas and then brought to India. Because of this, Skoda will only sell 100 units of the Superb in India, making it a rare car for buyers.

What’s New in the Superb?

The updated Skoda Superb comes with a 2.0-litre four-cylinder TSI petrol engine that meets India’s emission standards. This engine is connected to a seven-speed DCT gearbox and can produce 187 bhp of power and 320 Nm of torque.

The car hasn’t changed much in looks from the last model sold in India but comes with some new designs and features. It has full LED headlights, LED fog lights, and 18-inch alloy wheels. Inside, the Superb has a new 10.2-inch digital display for the driver and a 9.1-inch touchscreen for the infotainment system. It also has features like wireless charging, three-zone climate control, and seats that can be adjusted in 12 different ways with massage and memory functions.

Skoda Superb 2024: Safety Features

Safety is a big part of the new Superb. It has nine airbags, a system to warn the driver if they are tired, a 360-degree camera, and other safety features. These features show Skoda’s focus on making the Superb a safe car for drivers and passengers.

Limited Color Options

The Superb will be available in three colors, including two new colors called Rosso Brunello and Water World Green, and the previously available Magic Black.
