Mumbai: With BSE Sensex, Nifty set to open after three days of holiday, market investors will keep a close eye on several stocks including, HDFC Bank, Adani Green Energy, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Infosys, and UltraTech Cement.


HDFC Bank has informed the exchanges that it will sell its 100 per cent stake in HDFC Education and Development Services Private Ltd. “In this regard, HDFC Bank has, on March 30, 2024, entered into a binding term sheet with an interested party, and the offer contained in such term sheet shall serve as the anchor/base bid to seek counter offers from other parties interested in participating in the aforesaid Swiss challenge process,” HDFC Bank said.

Adani Green Energy

Adani Green Energy announced that it has started operation of its 775 megawatt solar power projects in Khavda, Gujarat. Adani Green Energy through its various wholly-owned stepdown subsidiaries has operationalised an aggregate 775 MW solar power projects at Khavda, Gujarat, the company stated. “Based on the relevant clearances, it was decided at 00:12 am on March 29, 2024 to operationalize the plant and commence power generation from March 29, 2024,” the company said.

Kotak Mahindra Bank

Kotak Mahindra Bank has acquired 100 per cent stake in Sonata Finance for Rs 537 crore. Sonata has its presence in 10 states and has assets under management worth Rs 2,620 crore as on December 31, 2023.


Infosys informed the stock exchanges that it is expecting a refund of Rs 6,329 crore from the Income Tax Department. “As per the orders, the company expects a refund of Rs 6,329 crore (including interest). The company is in the process of evaluating the implications of these orders on the financial statements for the quarter and year ending March 31, 2024,” Infosys said in a BSE filing.

UltraTech Cement

UltraTech Cement has received a demand order of Rs 21.13 crore from the Chhattisgarh government. The Aditya Birla Group firm confirmed receiving the demand order on March 28, 2024. “The company has received a demand order from the Collector, Balodabazar, Mining Department, Chhattisgarh, for an amount of Rs 21.13 crore against minimum production requirement as per the Mine Development and Production Agreement (“MDPA”),” said UltraTech.
