Will Maruti Suzuki announce Dividend for 2024? Board meeting on April 26 to discuss Q4 Results

New Delhi: Maruti Suzuki Board is expected to announce dividend for financial year 2024 later this month. The automobile major board will meet on April 26, 2024 to consider and approve the audited financial results for the fourth quarter of 2023-24. The board members are also likely to contemplate on the dividend.

India’s largest car maker paid 1800 per cent dividend at a face value of Rs 5 amounting to Rs 90 per share in 2023-24. “A meeting of the board of directors of the Company is scheduled to be held on Friday, the 26th April, 2024, to consider and approve, inter-alia, the audited financial results for the year ended on 31st March, 2024,” Maruti Suzuki informed in an exchange filing.

Maruti Suzuki Sales

Maruti Suzuki India reported a 10 per cent rise in total sales at 1,87,196 units in March 2024. In the previous financial year, the auto major crossed an annual total sales milestone of 20 lakh units. Total sales include highest ever domestic sales of 1,793,644 units and highest ever exports of 283,067 units.

Maruti Suzuki Financial Results Q3 of FY 2023-24

Maruti Suzuki sold 501,207 vehicles during the October-December quarter. The car manufacturing company registered sales of 429,422 units in the domestic market. The company informed to register Net sales of Rs 318,600 million, while the net profit for the quarter was Rs 31,300 million, an increase of 33.1 per cent over Rs 23,513 million in Q3FY2022-23.

April-December FY 2023-24

Maruti Suzuki sold a total of 1,551,292 units during the April-December period. It sold 1,346,965 units in the domestic market, while exports stood at 204,327 units.

Net sales of Rs 982,403 million was recorded in 9MFY2023-24. The company made a net profit of Rs 93,316 million in the same period, 72 per cent higher than the net profit of Rs 54,256 million registered in 9MFY2022-23.
