New Delhi: Aditya Srivastava, from Lucknow, secured an All India Rank 1 in the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Service Examinations (CSE) 2023. A video capturing Aditya’s reaction after checking the UPSC 2023 result has gone viral on social media, leaving netizens emotional.
The video shows Aditya and his friends cheering for him to celebrate the moment. His friends lifted him up and walked around their hostel at the National Police Academy.

Aditya, an IIT Kanpur graduate, secured AIR 236 in 2022 and was selected for IPs. He is presently undergoing IPS training.
Aditya pursued a dual degree of BTech and MTech at IIT kanpur after which he joined Goldman Sachs, where he worked for 15 months.
Aditya Srivastava’s father, Ajay Srivastava, is an AAO in the Central Audit Department. His younger sister is currently studying for the civil services exam in New Delhi, while his mother, Abha Srivastava, is a homemaker.
This year, 1,016 candidates have been recommended for for appointment to esteemed roles such as the Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service, Indian Police Service, and other Central Services Groups A and B.
