KVS Class 1-12 admission 2024 schedule released; check dates here

New Delhi: The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has released the KVS admission 2024 schedule for Class 1 to Class 11. The KVS admission registration process will begin on April 1. The last date to register for Class 1 admission is April 15. However, for Class 2 to Class 11, the online registration window for admission will be closed on April 10, 2024.

The admission will be conducted for a total of 1,254 Kendriya Vidyalaya schools. The newly established Kendriya Vidyalayas till the month of February this year have been directed to manage Class 1 admissions via the online OLA portal and for other classes through offline procedures. However, these schools are not bound to follow the Class 2 admission schedule as they must admit the full strength of 32 students.

KVS Admission 2024 Requirement

Class 1 Admission:

A child should be a minimum of 6 years as of March 31 to be eligible.
The maximum age to apply is 8 years.
Two-year age relaxation will be given to Children with Special Needs (CwSN).

Class 11 Admission:

There is no age limit provided for students seeking admission in the year of passing the Class 10 exam.

Class 12 Admission:

There is no upper or lower age limit for Class 12 admission.
