New Delhi: CSK’s decision to include Moeen Ali in the 34th match against LSG has paid off well. The English all-rounder smacked Ravi Bishnoi for three consecutive sixes in the 18th over of the match. Ruturaj Gaikwad led-CSK was struggling in the middle overs and losing the wickets at regular intervals. Moeen who started his innings slow took on Bishnoi in the 18th over and shifted the momentum towards CSK.
Moeen smashed Bishnoi for a maximum over deep square leg in the second ball of the over. He played a slog sweep for a six on the third ball and smashed the fourth ball for another six over long off. After completing the hat-trick of sixes, Ravi Bishoi got the better of Moeen Ali and dismissed him on 30 runs.

Moeen is playing his second match of the season for the CSK. He played his first game against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad, where he didn’t get the opportunity but he took two crucial wickets for CSK.
Super Kings posted 177 runs target for LSG
CSK batted first in the 34th match of the IPL 2024 against LSG and scored 176 runs in the 20 overs at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. Mohsin Khan and Yash Thakur got the better of Rachin Ravindra and Ruturaj Gaikwad in the powerplay. Ajinkya Rahane scored 36 runs off 24 balls, he was dismissed by Krunal Pandya. Ravindra Jadeja scored his first half-century of the season and Moeen Ali also scored 30 runs off 20 deliveries.
The former CSK skipper came in to bat in the last two overs and scored 28 runs off 9 balls. He smashed two maximums and three boundaries in his innings.
