Posted by New Delhi: Since the arrest of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in connection with alleged money laundering related to Delhi excise policy, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has been vehemently attacking the BJP for allegedly trying to break the party. Now, AAP has alleged that after the arrest of Arvind Kejriwal, the BJP has once again activated “Operation Lotus” by trying to lure AAP leaders.

Saurabh Bharadwaj, a minister in the Delhi government and AAP leader, alleged that Arvind Kejriwal received the first notice from the Enforcement Directorate on October 30, 2023, and was asked to appear on November 2. “Since then, Arvind Kejriwal has been saying that the intention is not to investigate but to put him in jail, break the Aam Aadmi Party’s MLAs in Delhi and Punjab, and overthrow the government because the BJP knows that it cannot win elections in Delhi and Punjab through fair competition,” Saurabh Bharadwaj alleged.
Saurabh Bharadwaj further added there are four major parties in Punjab and the BJP ranks fourth in the state. After the farmers’ agitation, whatever little they had in Punjab also slipped away, he said.

“Boards were put up in villages in Punjab. Farmers hate them. Now the question arises, when the people of Punjab do not want the BJP, why is the BJP breaking leaders of other parties? Why would these leaders join BJP? The leaders are being lured with various schemes. People switch parties for various reasons. Our MP and candidate from Jalandhar, Rinku, was lured by the BJP,” Saurabh Bhardwaj claimed.
“Why would he (Rinku) want to join the number four party in Punjab? Yesterday, three of our MLAs from Punjab got the call luring them to join BJP. But they didn’t heed. They informed the party leadership. These people (BJP) repeatedly said, “Tell us who called, who made contact. So we have provided these numbers. You can also see see these numbers: +35796718959,” Bhardwaj stated.
Earlier on Wednesday, Delhi Lieutenant Governor said he won’t allow Delhi government to run jail. AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj said, “Delhi LG is saying that the government won’t function from jail, nor will it function from outside. In fact, the government won’t function at all,” Bhardwaj attacked Delhi LG.
