Posted by New Delhi: In a horrific development reported from the national capital, a 5-year-old girl was allegedly raped and murdered in Bawana area of Delhi. The crime reportedly took place on Sunday (March 24). The minor victim’s body was later hid by the accused inside a factory, according to police.
It is alleged that the accused lured the girl to go with him. A nearby CCTV captured the man taking the girl along with him. The accused then sexually assaulted the minor and killed her. He later hid the body in the factory, reported NDTV.
Some media reports suggest that police have recovered the body of the girl. The child’s body has now been shifted to hospital’s mortuary. Meanwhile, the local police have filed a case under relevant sections of Indian Penal Code (IPC) and initiated a probe. According to a report, the police have arrested the accused and he is being questioned.
