Coimbatore: Tamil Nadu BJP president and party’s candidate for Coimbatore Parliamentary Constituency, K Annamalai put out an open challenge to DMK & AIADMK and said: “If the Dravidian parties can bring at least one voter in front of the media to say that the BJP tried to bribe them with money for vote he’ll quit politics.”

Annamalai after casting his vote at Uthupatti polling center under Aravakurichi assembly constituency of Karur district this morning, said “I have contested this election with complete honesty. I’ll quit politics if it’s proven that even a single voter in the Coimbatore constituency was given money by the BJP.”

The BJP leader accuses the DMK and AIADMK of spending over Rs 1000 crores in Coimbatore to influence voters.

“DMK and other parties think that they can win all over Tamil Nadu by bribing voters. The people of Coimbatore and the people of Karur will give a befitting response, money politics will be defeated and democracy is going to win this election,” Annamalai said.
