The tribe has been living on the island for over 50,000 years under the protection of the Indian Government. The place is prohibited strictly for visitors of any kind because it is believed that the tribe is fiercely protective of their way of life and is known to attack outsiders who have attempted to visit or interact with them.

Snake Island, Brazil

Snake Island in Brazil is not just forbidden; it’s a sanctuary for thousands of venomous snakes. The Brazilian Government has declared it off-limits to protect snakes and humans, underscoring the importance of preserving our diverse ecosystems.

Doomsday Vault, Norway

The Doomsday Vault, or the Global Seed Vault, is crucial for humanity. It houses a collection of 100 million seeds worldwide, serving as a backup to revive global flora during catastrophic events. This vault, which was unveiled in 2008, is designed to withstand explosions and earthquakes, underlining its importance and the need to preserve it.

Heard Island, Australia

It is one of the most unexplored places. Heard Island lies between Antarctica and Madagascar, but it is a political part of Australia. There are two active volcanoes here, and it is entirely barren. The entire island is composed of debris and limestone resulting from volcanic eruptions. The Australian Government restricted entry to the forbidden island to preserve the fragile natural surroundings.

Area 51, USA

Area 51, located in southern Nevada, is a US military base. It has the reputation of being a testing ground for weapons and aircraft. The place has been put off-limits to the commoners, and even the USA barely acknowledges its existence.

Ise Grand Shrine, Japan

Japan is famous globally for its shrine culture. The country houses approximately 80,000 shrines; the most important is the Ise Grand Shrine. Due to its grandeur, it is one of the most expensive temples in Japan. This temple is rebuilt every 20 years to maintain the Shinto traditions dating back to the 8th century. You are only allowed to visit the temple if you are a royal family member.

Surtsey Island, Iceland

Surtsey Island is a small archipelago off the southern coast of Iceland. A volcanic eruption formed it, and it is only open to a few scientists and geologists. The island is off-limits for tourists as it is believed that human interference will disrupt the ecological succession taking place on it.

Lascaux Caves, France

A treasure trove for archaeologists around the globe, the Lascaux Cave is complex and contains prehistoric paintings that are 17,300 years old. In this cave, one can find a series of Paleolithic paintings that look hauntingly vivid. The paintings hug the wall and depict animals like cattle, stags, and bison. The cave has been closed to the general public since 1963 as archaeologists believe that human presence will destroy the ancient work of art.

Dulce Base, USA

Situated near the Colorado border in New Mexico, Dulce is a quaint town with 2,600 Native Americans. It is also an underground laboratory where unbelievable experiments take place. The Dulce Base has a massive hidden compound and houses incredibly advanced technologies and human-animal hybrids.
