Posted by Kotara Westfield: A video of an Australian man falling asleep at a barber’s shop while getting a haircut has gone viral on social media. Billy was getting a haircut at Barber Industries in Kotara Westfield, Australia, when he dozed off – for THREE HOURS!
Barber Jordan Magasiva said that Billy was cheerful when he arrived but started to zone out after a tiring day at work. He decided to put a headrest behind Billy’s head and reclined his seat while doing the haircut. The haircut took around 30 minutes.
Man sleeps at barber shop
A video going viral on social media shows Billy snoring loudly with his mouth wide-open for three hours as barbers went about their business.
At one point, the salon staff even put a towel over his face as an eye cover to make his sleep more comfortable.
Jordan said that it is not uncommon for people to fall asleep in the barber’s chair.
Billy dozed off around 3:14 pm and woke up just before 6 pm. On waking up, he asked the staff, “What time is it?”
He was in disbelief when he learned that he slept for nearly three hours.
“When he woke up he couldn’t believe it, 38 missed calls and a parking ticket,” Jordan said.
The video ends with him waving at the staff and walking out of the salon.

Reacting to the response to the viral video, Jordan said, “One thing I really liked about the response is people were really relating to it and people were like, we are all human. We all work hard. We all get tired.”
