Posted by YS Sharmila, Andhra Pradesh Congress chief has filed her nomination from Kadapa Lok Sabha constituency in Andhra Pradesh on Saturday.
The election affidavit she submitted with her nomination showed that she owes her brother and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy a whopping Rs 82.4 crore and she owes Rs 19.4 lakh to Jagan’s wife YS Bharathi Reddy.
The affidavit also showed that her family’s total assets are worth Rs 182 crore. Sharmila’s husband, Anil, owes Rs 40 lakh to her mother YS Vijayamma, and Rs 30 crore to Sharmila herself. She also declared gold jewellery worth Rs 3.69 crore and gem stone jewellery worth Rs 4.61 crore. Her husband owns gold jewellery worth Rs 81.6 lakh and gem stone jewellery worth Rs 42.6 lakh.
Sharmila is trying to revive the Congress party, which has been wiped out in the state post 2014 bifurcation.
AP will vote simultaneously for Assembly and Lok Sabha elections on Mya 13 and votes will be counted on June 4.
